Unapproved Ads

Watch out for UNAPPROVED Advertising Materials!!!!!  Here's  excerpts from a NASE Brochure, that I received. Mr. Steven Imber, Esq UICI's,  Mega Life, and  Mid-West National, legal counsel stated in his 4/6/2006 letter these are NOT approved advertising pieces, nor are the assertions accurate.

Sample Insurance Company  rules on getting advertising approval.  Business & Professions Code 175000 on false and misleading advertising.   If you see ANY advertising from NASE or the companies listed about,  that doesn't appear to have been printed by the actual insurance company, with a date and form number, be sure to let  their legal counsel know about it so that it can be rectified.   Mr. Imber's letter certainly implies that they want to comply fully with CA Insurance Code 790.03 (a) (b) related to twisting, false, deceptive or misleading statements

NASE - covers on the Job Injuries, most other companies do not.  You don't need Worker's Comp., if you have NASE

What about the other benefits that Worker's Compensation provides, like Death Benefits, Vocational Rehabilitation,  Temporary and Permanent Disability Payments, and of course Medical Care - with NO DEDUCTIBLES or CO-PAYMENTS!

Most companies IN FACT will cover on the job injuries - if you are NOT Eligible to obtain Worker's Compensation coverage.   Click here for more details on if Self Employed are required to have Worker's Comp.

All your premiums to NASE are refunded - minus any claims paid out?
That's an AWFUL long time to stay with ONE company.  How long do you have to stay with NASE to get this?  How old must you be when you start?   Under age 50?

NASE states that you can never be cancelled or singled out for a rate increase.
Neither can any other Insurance Company or HMO.  Health & Safety Code §1357.12.(a) (1)(Groups?) Insurance Code §10273.6 (Guaranteed Renewable)  The premium for new business shall be determined for an eligible employee in a particular risk category after applying a risk adjustment factor to the plan's standard employee risk rates... this factor may not be more than 110 percent or less than 90 percent.  More citations to follow.  Health Insurance Info.net   Federal Govt HHS Site
Does that mean NASE has NEVER increased their rates?  If they have increased their rates WHY?
Open Enrollment - No blood test or physical required.
It's MY understanding that "Open Enrollment" means that everyone gets covered regardless of Health Status - Does NASE require an application or request medical records?

  Savings of   30 - 50%  on a Section 105 plan?
I don't think the savings is that high.  I would like to see NASE's calculations.  Click here for more information.

Internet Ad implying that NASE is  ACTUAL Insurance Company    .pdf

UICI's 4/6/2006 letter  states that the above brochure and Internet Ad quoted from was NOT approved and most of it is false.

NASE Disclosure about their relationship with Mega, since 1996 and requires 1 year to terminate the agreement.

View Hadland v. NN Investors Life Ins. Co. relating to how important it is to read the actual policy.  Please note that NASE now represents UICI,  Mega Life, and  Mid-West National per their 4/6/2006 letter.

See attorney Keler.com for more explanation.  Check with Gallegos Law Firm for exceptions to the general rule.

Instant ONLINE Medical Quotes  Most companies, agents or other advertiser's of medical coverage  voluntarily provide rates and benefits ONLINE - what about NASE or Mega?
